The new ICP Active-9 high speed coin sorter incorporates SCAN COIN’s world leading and unique Active Sorting® coin processing technology and advanced sensor control. With its base in the well renowned and widely used SC Active 4000, you can be sure to get an excellent solution.

Intelligent Coin Processing
Sensor technology from SCAN COIN is known to be the best in the market, and you will find no less in this machine. This means that you can trust all validation and counting always to be correct.

There are nine active outlets/bag holders and one passive reject outlet to handle 3,820 coins per minute. A light above each outlet indicates when an outlet/bag is full. The level of coins in each coin bag is graphically shown on the machine's colour display.

Active Sorting® for Maximum Productivity
With the Active Sorting® technology, the machine will run even when an outlet/bag is full. While the operator changes bags, the machine continues to count the other denominations, and coins are simply recirculated until the outlet/bag is available again.



Cash Management
The ICP Active-9 comes in two models. The ICP Active-9 Standard includes a smart transaction setup system that handles the basic functionalities in a cash centre. The other model, the ICP Active-9 Flex PC version, with a cash management system, enables further functionality, optimization and connectivity.

Operational Versatility
The sophisticated software used to control the machine offers a high level of flexibility and enables the ICP Active-9 to be configured to meet the customer’s particular requirements. This means that the monitor only displays the functions required. No irrelevant screens to confuse operators, no unnecessary operations to complete the count. All count and register information is always retained.

Despite the level of capability and wide range of user options, the ICP Active-9 Standard and the ICP Active-9 Flex can both be operated with a minimum of training. The ICP Active-9 Flex is designed for easy configuration for communication with external systems.

New Features
The ICP Active-9 has a brand-new vacuum coin feeding system. The vacuum technique places the coins firmly on the rotating plate, and efficiently takes them through the sensor. Since the coins cannot end up on top of each other, the risk of jams is almost completely eliminated.

Another new feature is the cast iron base that all coin processing components are fixed to. This extremely solid construction is stable and insensitive to vibrations and wear. The fact that this is a cast iron one-piece also facilitates calibration and service, as there are so few adjustments to make.
